This example is freshly graded PSA 2 GOOD w/ MBA 3 Gold diamond and presents with strong eye appeal for the grade. The card retains solid color as if placed in a shoe box never seeing the light of day, clear registration, and a bold image of Mantle, with even wear consistent with its technical grade. Corners show rounding and there is visible surface wear, but the card remains structurally sound and displays very nicely. The classic blue background and vivid portrait continue to stand out, making this a very attractive example of this legendary card. This card has hard to see indentations around his face and top left border, and a wrinkle on the bottom right of the back. Even with this, a PSA 2 seems overly harsh, as agreed to by the MBA 3 Diamond rating.
